some stuff about me
I’m a former government e-Communications Manager. Now pottering around doing the odd thing with the web, communications & design.
I love:
- music (pretty much everything. except country & western. which I just don’t get)
- apple stuff (fashion victim)
- art & design (i’m a sucker for a good exhibition, gallery or museum. or even a bad one)
- films (obscure foreign language art-house to blockbuster Hollywood rubbish)
- fashion (though I’m pretty much always dressed like a bit of a tramp)
- social media
- really nice notebooks (paper kind)
- a nice cup of tea and a biscuit
- anything that contains sugar (even, in really desperate ‘all the shops are closed and there’s nothing in the house’ moments, just sugar itself)
- and loads of other stuff
- travel (long weekends in Europe, lazy fortnights in the sun, exotic destinations. English seaside towns. orchestral tours of China – best not ask about that one)
All of this makes me (in my head) nicely eclectic and interesting. The reality is far more dull.

I’m a pseudo-vegetarian (not ideological, just don’t like meat. or meaty fish. used to love seafood. eat eggs)
I’m allergic to kiwifruit, shellfish & seafood (see above), penicillin, imodium (so if you take a real dislike to me you know what to do)
