Today, I have mostly been making jam

Yesterday I got slightly carried away picking strawberries at Primrose Vale Farm Shop & Pick Your Own, partly because they were so perfectly ripe, beautifully scented and full of flavour and partly because of my greed

So today I made jam. Quite a lot of it. 4 batches or 15 jars worth. Tastes amazing if I say so myself. And I learned that when people say you have to watch jam ALL the time, they mean it

(I couldn’t get the marmalade labels off the jars, as they seem to be stuck on with some kind of indestructible adhesive. Even the sterilisation process didn’t budge them. How do the WI do it?!)
